It's slow ...
May 28, 2025 13:41

When just clicking back and forth and not doing much, the forum needs a lot of time thinking ...  I would suggest less thinking and faster switch between pages ☹😀

But when i actually do something, as posting this text, it uses less time. At least it feels like it😃

not sure exactly what you mean, doesn't seem to be slow for me

It's the same with Chrome and Edge. But when I'm logged out -  it's fast

Thats very odd, mine is pretty much instant if I hit the back button in the browser.
For info, the browsers back button works independantly of any websites tbh, the browser itself deals with fetching pages from it's history and may or may not call the server when doing so (it should pull them from your local cache).

It's the same on my mobile btw

I'll try doing a recording later, but not like that for me at all, very odd.

I think it may be related to the onload spinner when using the back button, I will do some testing.

It's not only the back button. New video here:

I noticed that it is the same when I'm logged out, at least this time, when I did the same as in the video above. The difference is that the spinner dosen't turn up when i'm logged out.

I believe the issue here is that the lastpost replyid is not correct (I think an issue with the split topic code) but it should fail rather than just sit spinning so will take a look

Yes, this was definitely the problem, will do some teesting to see why it did not update the last reply id correctly
