I have not sorted the plugins yet, been concentrating on the main forum code which is why most of these have not yet been fixed.
Also for the language resource editor, this is generally part of the admin pages and none of that has been fully updated to use the language resources as yet.

Is the list of countries not related to the calendar plugin? Where is this list fetched?

No it is related to the public holidays, which come from
