The topics with only one posts appears a bit strange. See how it is in the previous version (from sporenbiolog.no). Wouldn't it be better to say: last post by "the username who posted the topic" or just take the last-post-part away?
 Sort direction, for dates DESC means newest first

But we need arrow in both cases. I always click on the arrowblush
