There is one big external site (artsobservasjoner.no) where different posts in our old forum are referred to many times. People are concerned that these links will no longer work. The links are important information.
1) The people running this external site can maybe update the links in their database.
2) But maybe better if we could redirect the call from the hyperlink to the right place in our new database? Could that be done with .htaccass file? And put the file at the old forums address (bio.no/enbiolog/ )? I already have a .htaccass there. It redirects calls to the new domain. With the new forum the urls are to a topic is different . Can a htaccess do yhe translation from old to new url for me?

if the url wa this for example https://www.sporenbiolog.no/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=68005 then it would find the topic ok. I will remove the requirement for /forum/

Ah! code seems to be snitz specific as it looks for /forum/ in the url will need to tweak it.
