It displays the live power generation from my solar panels. I finally got round to writing some python scripts to run on the raspberry pi that collects the data and uploads it to PVOutput websiite

nothing to see TBH, it connects to our Solar inverter via LAN (so no need for rs232 converters etc) so was just a matter of getting the two things to talk, had a few problems to begin with as Pi was on wifi but PV system was on the LAN, bloody router has problems forwarding UDP broadcasts from wifi to LAN, so had to connect the Pi to the sam Hub as the PV system before they would talk to each other.
The Pi now polls the PV system every 15 mins to grab it's output and uploads it the the PVOutput website
