Yes, although the new 3b+ comes with a separate POE header plug so will need to wait for new boards to come out that use that rather than the gpio header.
Results of my initial backup tests were great (it backed up two remote servers using URBackup while downloading 100K files via ftp and bearely broke into a sweat), so looks like I will be retiring my aged (very large) file server for something that will fit in a cigarette packet smile

Thanks for sharing love see photos of people set up. It's crazy you can get 4tb small portable drives now. Also 14gig drives are out too (if you know the right people). I added a touch screen to my pi.
