been told just now the pit needs resealing (its like 20 years old) and there is also some faulty taps to be fixed.
so internet be up and down whilst its fixed and signal settled.

The gits only wiped all my router settings, luckly I had a list of my settings etc.
and they also wiped the remote control settings for volume on the tv etc.

fortunately I don't use my virgin hub as a router 
it is just configured as a pass through modem (wifi on the hub is ****, wouldn't reach anywhere else in the house)
