yes, that is what is should do, but that is not what is happening. It appears that under certain circumstances the return url gets set to the login page so it redirects you back because it is a valid url rather than nothing. Now I have finally determined the cause I can add a check to prevent it.

entering the site via this link https://www.reddick.co.uk/Mvc/ should not bring up the login page, are you using a stored link that is redirecting you to login?
You would only be redirected to login if the forum was set to require registration which it isn't.
The reason your are being redirected back to the login from the login is because it thinks that is where you came from. نوشته شده توسط HuwR
In any case, after logging to site, if no place is already identified, it not must be returned to the same login page, and should be returned to home page.

I just got this too, I will see if I can work out why, although this is the first time it has happened for me so may be difficult to pin point.
