This version doesn't use the keywords tag because as you say it can cause your site to be adversely affected, mainly because they were being abused. It does generate the description meta tags based on the page you are viewing so should help. Plus you should use SSL (https) for your site as this can also have problems with rankings on Google if not using https. Very wrong in my opinion since there is no need for most sites to be using SSL, and if May gets elected tomorrow the UK probably won't be able to use it anyway
